The Cat in the Hat character plays many roles in "The Musical." A long-time fan of Dr. Seuss, Marlene designed each of the Cat's costumes from an Aqua fabric that mirrors the blue of the original book cover jacket. Costumes shown here include lamé aqua "Circus Barker's" Jacket (at left) and aqua satin "Pool Boy" giant-ruffled-sleeve bolero. Not shown are the aqua Doctor's Lab coat, and the aqua News Reporter's coat.
